ATLANTA — One man is dead and another is injured after a resident of a southwest Atlanta apartment complex opened fire on two workers.

The shooting happened at The Premier complex on Alison Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Channel 2’s Tom Regan spoke to police, who said three men were working waterproofing a basement when a resident became angry over the noise.

Police said the resident opened fire on the men, shooting one in the chest and one in the arm. The shooter then chased a third worker across the property.

The worker who was shot in the chest died. The condition of the worker who was shot in the arm has not been disclosed. The identity of the victim has also not been released.

The shooter has been identified as Trevion Dashawn Webb. He was taken into custody and charged with murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

NewsChopper 2 was at the scene Wednesday, where much of the compound was cordoned off with crime scene tape, and then the men’s work truck was still parked.

Police said they recovered ballistic evidence and examined electronic evidence. They also talk to several witnesses.
