A 52-year-old man died and two men were injured after a shooting outside an apartment building in west Toronto on Saturday night, police said.
Emergency crews were called to the Martha Eaton Way building, located near the intersection of Black Creek and Trethewey Road and a short distance from the 12th Division station, just before 10:30 p.m.
According to an update released by Toronto Police, officers were called to the property after receiving reports of multiple gunshots heard.

Officers found Jerome Jean-Louis Sylvester, a Toronto resident near a sidewalk just outside the building, but he died soon after.

A 29-year-old man and a 57-year-old man were taken to hospital by paramedics with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
The Toronto Police Homicide Squad was called in to resume the investigation, but as of Sunday afternoon they had yet to release suspicious information.
