COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responds to a fire located near Academy Boulevard.
UPDATE AT 1:27 PM: According to the CSFD, two buildings and eight housing units were involved in the fire, but the fire was extinguished. No injuries were reported.
At this time, first responders do not know what caused the fire.

UPDATE 12:28: According to CSFD PIO Michael Smaldino, most of the fire was extinguished.
