ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – This is a luxury apartment complex and winery rolled into one. A new $25 million apartment complex is currently under construction in the Northeast Heights.

Holly and Ventura’s property, just north of Paseo, includes on-site vineyards, a wine lounge that residents can book, and wine racks for rent. The 111 units are available in studio, one and two bedroom units and range in price from $1,300 to “well over” $2,000 per month depending on the unit.

Anyone who rents a unit will also receive a bottle of wine when they move in. The promoters claim that the neighborhoods are in agreement with this project. “This project aims to improve this area of the city. We have a nice mall across the street with vacant spaces. This project will help fill those gaps,” said Josh Rogers of Titan Development.

Developers are also building a long-desired roundabout to ease traffic flow in the area, as well as more pedestrian-friendly improvements, helping to make the area more walkable for old and new residents alike. “We’re going to build sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, crosswalks,” Brian Peterson said.

Titan Development expects construction to be completed early next spring.
